Ludmil Manev

Managing director

Mr. Ludmil Manev has master degree in Finance at UNWE, Sofia. He has rich experience in the field of EU Programmes and projects for 7 years. He has been project manager of several projects, financed by the EU of which 1 LLP Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation Project, 2 Leonardo da Vinci Pilot project, 3 Leonardo da Vinci Mobility projects, 4 PHARE cross-border cooperation projects, 1 PHARE regional development project and 4 PHARE projects for dairy SME competitiveness increase. Mr. Manev took part in the implementation of 1 Grundvig project. The successful execution of all these projects has provided him with rich experience in the preparation as well as in the real implementation of different EU projects and Programmes.

Margarita Vassileva

International Projects Coordinator

Ms Margarita Angelova has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from the Sofia Univeristy “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She has been a member of the ECQ team since 2006. She has gained valuable experience in international project preparation, management and reporting of different national and EU funded projects. She has been directly involved in 12 LdV projects, 2 IEE projects, 1 Grundtvig Partnership, 3 Cross-border projects /BG-GR/, 14 Erasmus+ KA2 projects. Ms Angelova has been the Coordinator of the project “Facilitating Organisational Innovation – FLOURISH” (№2018-1-BG01-KA202-048014) which has been awarded with Mark of Excellence during the Annual Valorization Conference of the Bulgarian National Agency: „20 years Human Resources Development Center – „Erasmus+ – Changing lives, Opening minds“.
Ms Angelova was also Coordinator of the international projects “Towards a More Innovative Workplace” (№ 2014-1-BG01-KA202-001634) and “Creativity Development & Innovation Training Package for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises – I-Create” (№ 2011-1-BG1-LEO05-05031) which also received prestigious awards as good practices by the Bulgarian National Agency.
Areas of professional interest: ICT, sustainable tourism, creativity and innovation, intercultural training, entrepreneurship, vocational education and training, recognition and validation of non-formal and informal learning.

Yuliya Arabadzhieva

Senior expert in EU programmes

Ms. Yuliya Arabadzhieva has a Bachelor’s degree in British and American Studies. Before joining the ECQ team in 2008 she gained experience in the non-governmental sector with a focus on activities involving work with vulnerable groups. She took part in several trainings in advocacy and age awareness rising and was in charge of a project aiming at the integration in society of vulnerable older people. Ms. Arabadzhieva has been involved in the implementation of EU funded projects for over 10 years now. During this period, she has been dealing with cross-cultural issues, ethical competence, vulnerable groups and entrepreneurship among others. Ms. Arabadzhieva has further developed her professional competences managing projects under various EU programmes, including Lifelong Learning Programme, Erasmus+, Operational Programme “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020 and its predecessor Operational Programme “Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy” 2007-2013. Following the requirements of her position as a project manager, she is well acquainted with the whole project cycle management processes including proposal writing, project implementation and reporting.

Bianka Ivanova

Senior Expert in EU programmes

Mrs. Ivanova has more than 10 years’ experience of working on project management and implementation. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and a Master’s degree in European Integration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridsky”. Her educational background has provided her with in-depth knowledge in the field of EU Programmes, EU Funding opportunities and Project management. During her studies, Mrs. Ivanova gained practical work experience in the field at several institutions, including the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria. After joining ECQ team, Mrs. Ivanova has been directly involved in the implementation of many international projects under European programmes (Erasmus +, Leonardo da Vinci). Mrs. Ivanova is actively engaged in the preparation and implementation of projects under various national operational programmes (Innovations and Competitiveness, Human Resources Development, etc.). With more than 30 written, approved and successfully implemented projects, she has a great track record when it comes to helping Bulgarian companies grow.

Admira Boshnyaku

Expert in EU programmes & Management Systems

Ms. Boshnyaku has been a part of the ECQ team since June, 2012. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, a Master’s degree in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy – Sofia and currently is a PhD candidate in Industrial economics in the same university.  She’s a certified internal auditor for the following standards: ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems; ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management Systems; ISO 50001:2018 – Energy Management Systems. Ms. Boshnyaku has rich experience in the development and subsequent management of both national and international projects. As part of the ECQ team she has been involved in the implementation of many international projects under Lifelong Learning Programme, Intelligent Energy Europe and Erasmus+ and national projects under “Innovations and competitiveness” and “Human Resources Development” Operational Programmes.

Borislava Zaharieva

Senior Expert in EU programmes

Mrs. Borislava Zaharieva – Tomova joined the ECQ team in May, 2013. She has a Master’s degree in International Relations at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridsky”. Her professional background started with a two-year engagement in the NGO sector, working on a variety of international project initiatives in cooperation with Bulgarian and Swiss partners for the promotion and support of direct citizen participation at national and European level, democratic and sustainable development of society and its structures. Afterwards, she spent five years in the banking sector, gaining experience in risk management and assessment of Medium-sized enterprises. Currently, Mrs. Tomova is engaged in the preparation and implementation of projects under various national operational programmes (Innovations and Competitiveness, Human Resources Development) and European programmes (Erasmus +, Horizon 2020, Leonardo da Vinci, Intelligent Energy Europe). She actively participates in the whole project cycle management, from the project idea to the valorization of project results.

Milena Goneva

Expert in EU programmes

Mrs. Milena Goneva has a Master’s degree in Sociology and Business administration. Before joining the ECQ team in 2015 her professional background is related with the non-governmental sector and work with vulnerable groups, in particular people with disabilities. For the last 10 years she took part in several projects aiming at the integration in society of people with disabilities through provision of social services, awareness raising campaigns, promotion of employment and etc.

As a part of ECQ Ltd. team Mrs. Goneva is involved in elaboration and implementation of EU funded projects under “Human Resources Development” and “Innovations and competitiveness” Operational Programmes and Erasmus + Programme. She is dealing with projects in the field of improvement of production capacity of SME, promotion of employment among unemployed and inactive persons, enhancement of opportunities for people with disabilities at the labour market through better access to professional training and realization.

Vanya Neycheva

Expert in EU programmes

Mrs. Neycheva joined the ECQ team in November 2015. She has a Master‘s degree in National Security and Defence from the Rakovski National Defence Academy and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of National and World Economy.

Before becoming a part of ECQ Mrs. Neycheva gained professional experience in the governmental sector by working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and completing an internship programmes in the Ministry of Defence and the Administration of the President. Her professional background also includes experience in the non-governmental sector in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention and health issues.

Currently, her professional interests include: sustainable development, circular economy, ecology, social inclusion, and eco innovations. She has been responsible for 8 Key Action 2 international projects within Erasmus + Programme, 2 KA1 projects and more than 20 national projects within Operational Programme “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020 (OPIC) and Operational Programme “Human resources development” 2014-2020.

Denitsa Seykova

Expert in EU Programmes

Denitsa Seykova has a Bachelor’s degree in Public administration and has followed European Integration Master degree programme at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” with 1 semester of studies taken at University of Wroclaw, Poland. Before joining ECQ, Ms. Seykova has been involved in the NGO sector as a consultant, working on a variety of projects mainly connected with the international development field under the EBRD, the World Bank, the USAID; “Europe for citizens 2014 – 2020” programme, etc. As a part of ECQ team for the last 5+ years, Ms. Seykova has been active in: the development and management of projects under different national programmes such as Operational Programmes “Innovations and competitiveness” and “Human resources development”, etc.; development and management of international projects under different EU programmes, mostly “Erasmus+””, Key Actions 1 and 2; organisation of workshops and conferences on various topics including Industry 4.0, automation, transfer of technology, innovations in SMEs, promotion of entrepreneurship, OHSA, etc.; elaboration of pieces of market research of businesses, comparative analyses, energy audits, etc.

Asya Kocheva

Expert in EU Programmes

Ms. Asya Kocheva has been a member of ECQ team since 2016. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political science from Sofia University and a professional qualification in Economics and management from Informa Center for Vocational education. She is currently finishing her Master’s degree in Security and counter-terrorism at the Rakovski National Defence Academy. As a part of ECQ team, Ms. Kocheva is engaged in the preparation and implementation of Erasmus+ projects, KA1 “Learning mobility for individuals” and KA2 “Strategic partnerships”.

Evgenia Nikulina, PhD

Expert in EU Programmes

Evgenia joined the ECQ team in July, 2015. She earned her master’s in Comparative Education and her doctorate in Education Sciences in her hometown of Omsk, Russia at the OMSK State Pedagogical University. Evgenia brings to the team extensive experience in educational research, curriculum development, instructional design and teaching. She also gathered significant experience in the field of international project management with special focus on joint degree programmes with North American and European Universities.

Currently, Evgenia is working on conceiving, developing and managing EU projects in the field of vocational education and training financed through ERASMUS+ programme.

Gergana Dimitrova, PhD

Senior expert in EU programmes

Gergana Dimitrova holds a PhD degree in Political Science from the Central European University, Budapest and is a former International Policy Fellow at the Open Society Institute and the Centre for Policy Studies in Budapest. She has over 11 years of experience in the development and coordination of international projects focused on higher education, technology, sustainable development and innovation. She has also been engaged in project-related academic and policy research in the above fields. As part of ECQ Ltd. team, Gergana Dimitrova is focusing on the development, management and research-related activities of international projects under the Erasmus+ programme. She is especially passionate about technology-related projects.

Slavka Ruseva

Expert in EU Programmes

Ms. Slavka Ruseva joined the ECQ team in July, 2016. Her educational background and professional interests are strongly connected with the European Affairs. She has a Bachelor’s degree in European studies and a Master’s degree in European projects from Sofia Univeristy “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Before joining ECQ, she was a volunteer in an initiative of the European Commission’s Representation in Bulgaria – Team Europe Junior Bulgaria, where she gathered valuable experience in communication initiatives and events organized by the offices of the European institutions in Bulgaria. She was also involved in several EU funded projects in the NGO sector and gathered consultancy experience in the implementation of EU projects for companies providing services in the ICT sector.

Darina Petrunova

Expert in EU programmes

Ms Darina Petrunova: holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration from University of National and World Economy. During her Master degree in International Economic Relations and International Project Management she took part in the “Erasmus” Exchange program and she did an academic term in “Vrije Universitet Brussel” in Brussels, Belgium. Before joining EAQOM team, she was working in an international Law company, where she gained significant organizational experience. In her previous position she was responsible for providing various kinds of administrative assistance, elaboration of accounting and financial documents.

Mariya Ivanova

Expert in EU Programmes

Mariya Ivanova is currently doing her Bachelor’s degree in Intellectual Property and Business at University of National and World Economy. She has a diploma for qualification as an economics specialist from National High School in Finance and Business. In 2019 she participated in Erasmus + program in Fh Joanneum – University of Applied Sciences in Graz, Austria where she gained additional experience in the field of International Business and Management.

Galina Ivanova, PhD

Expert in EU programmes

Ms Galina Ivanova holds a PhD degree in Literary theory from the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridsky”, a Master’s degree in Literary Studies, and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. She has over 8 years of experience in the public sector, as well as in VET education. She has been working on a number of projects in the fields of social policies and labour market. As a part of the ECQ team, she is passionate about working on projects in the social sphere and education. Spoken languages: English, German
