Ludmil Manev

Managing director

Mr. Ludmil Manev has master degree in Finance at UNWE, Sofia. He has rich experience in the field of EU Programmes and projects for 7 years. He has been project manager of several projects, financed by the EU of which 1 LLP Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation Project, 2 Leonardo da Vinci Pilot project, 3 Leonardo da Vinci Mobility projects, 4 PHARE cross-border cooperation projects, 1 PHARE regional development project and 4 PHARE projects for dairy SME competitiveness increase. Mr. Manev took part in the implementation of 1 Grundvig project. The successful execution of all these projects has provided him with rich experience in the preparation as well as in the real implementation of different EU projects and Programmes.

Margarita Vassileva

Senior expert in EU programmes

Ms. Margarita Vassileva has been a member of the ECQ team since 2006. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Master’s degree in Business Administration – Strategic Management. During the past 6 years she has gained experience in EU project preparation, management and reporting by the implementation of different national and European funded projects. She has been directly involved in 6 LdV Transfer of Innovation projects, 2 LdV Partnership projects, 1 IEE project, 1 Grundtvig Partnership project and 3 Cross-border projects / Bulgaria-Greece. Ms. Vassileva has been involved in the whole project cycle management process including proposal writing, project implementation and reporting. As Project Manager she has to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. She has also been in charge of defining project objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle.

Yulia Arabadzhieva

Senior expert in EU programmes

Mrs. Yulia Arabadzhieva has a Bachelor’s degree in British and American Studies. Before joining the ECQ team in 2008 she gained experience in the non-governmental sector and work with vulnerable groups. She took part in several trainings in advocacy and age awareness rising and was in charge of a project aiming at the integration in society of vulnerable older people. Mrs. Arabadzhieva has been involved in the implementation of EU funded projects for a total of 7 years. During this period she has been dealing with cross-cultural issues, ethical competence, vulnerable groups etc. As a whole she has been involved in the implementation of 9 projects under Competitiveness Grant Scheme, 1 Grundtvig partnership project, 3 LdV ToI projects, 1 LdV Development of Innovation project and 1 KA4 Transversal project. She is well acquainted with the whole project cycle management processes including proposal writing, project implementation and reporting.

Bianka Ivanova

Expert in EU programmes

 Ms. Bianka Ivanova has been a member of ECQ team since June 2012. She graduated from the University of Sofia with a Master’s degree in European Integration. Her educational background has provided her with in-depth knowledge in the field of EU Programmes, EU Funding opportunities and Project management. Before joining our team, she gained organizational experience in the preparation of project proposals under the framework of the “Youth in Action” Programme. Ms. Ivanova has also experience in the preparation and conduction of different events in the field of European Union – information meetings, presentations, conferences, trainings, etc. She is involved in elaboration and implementation of EU funded projects under  “Innovations and competitiveness” and “Human Resources Development” Operational Programmes as well as Erasmus + Programme.

Admira Boshnyaku

Expert in EU programmes & Management Systems

Ms. Boshnyaku has been a part of the ECQ team since June, 2012. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and a Master’s degree in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy – Sofia.  She’s a certified internal auditor for the following standards: Quality Management Systems in compliance with ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 9001:2015; Environmental Management Systems in compliance with ISO 14001:2004.

Ms. Boshnyaku has rich experience in the development and subsequent management of both national and international projects. As part of the ECQ team she has been involved in the implementation of several international projects under Lifelong Learning Programme, Intelligent Energy Europe and Erasmus+ and national projects under “Innovations and competitiveness” and “Human Resources Development” Operational Programmes.

Borislava Zaharieva – Tomova

Expert in EU programmes

Mrs. Borislava Zaharieva – Tomova joined the ECQ team in May, 2013. She has a Master’s degree in International Relations at the University of Sofia. Her professional background started with a two-year engagement in the NGO sector, working on a variety of international project initiatives in cooperation with Bulgarian and Swiss partners for the promotion and support of direct citizen participation at national and European level, democratic and sustainable development of society and its structures. Afterwards, she spent five years in the banking sector, gaining experience in risk management and assessment for Medium-sized enterprises.

Currently, Mrs. Tomova is engaged in the preparation and implementation of projects under various national and European programs, especially projects under Leonardo da Vinci programme and Intelligent Energy Europe. She actively participates in the whole project cycle management, from the project idea to the valorization of project results.

Milena Goneva

Expert in EU programmes

Mrs. Milena Goneva has a Master’s degree in Sociology and Business administration. Before joining the ECQ team in 2015 her professional background is related with the non-governmental sector and work with vulnerable groups, in particular people with disabilities. For the last 10 years she took part in several projects aiming at the integration in society of people with disabilities through provision of social services, awareness raising campaigns, promotion of employment and etc.

As a part of ECQ Ltd. team Mrs. Goneva is involved in elaboration and implementation of EU funded projects under “Human Resources Development” and “Innovations and competitiveness” Operational Programmes and Erasmus + Programme. She is dealing with projects in the field of improvement of production capacity of SME, promotion of employment among unemployed and inactive persons, enhancement of opportunities for people with disabilities at the labour market through better access to professional training and realization.

Evgenia Nikulina, PhD

Expert in EU programmes

Evgenia joined the ECQ team in July, 2015. She earned her master’s in Comparative Education and her doctorate in Education Sciences in her hometown of Omsk, Russia at the OMSK State Pedagogical University. Evgenia brings to the team extensive experience in educational research, curriculum development, instructional design and teaching. She also gathered significant experience in the field of international project management with special focus on joint degree programmes with North American and European Universities.

Currently, Evgenia is working on conceiving, developing and managing EU projects in the field of vocational education and training financed through ERASMUS+ programme.

Currently, Mrs. Tomova is engaged in the preparation and implementation of projects under various national and European programs, especially projects under Leonardo da Vinci programme and Intelligent Energy Europe. She actively participates in the whole project cycle management, from the project idea to the valorization of project results.

Vanya Novakova

Expert in EU Programmes

Mrs. Novakova joined the ECQ Ltd. team in November 2015. She has a Master‘s degree in National Security and defence from the Rakovski National Defence Academy and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of National and World Economy. Before becoming a part of ECQ Ltd. Mrs. Novakova gained professional experience in the governmental sector by working in the Ministry of foreign affairs and completing an internship programme in the Ministry of defence. Her professional background also includes experience in a NGO working in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention and health issues.

Desislava Pipkova

Expert in EU Programmes

Ms. Pipkova has a Bachelor’s degree in European studies at the University of Sofia gaining an in-depth knowledge of the EU Integration, EU Funding opportunities and Programmes. Currently she is studying Economy and Management of Sustainable Development at New Bulgarian University, Sofia. Before joining the team Ms. Pipkova gained experience in developing project proposals under the framework of the “Youth in Action” Programme and in Ministry of economy of Bulgaria where during an internship program worked on different assignments connected with implementation of the European union law.

Denitsa Seykova

Expert in EU Programmes

Denitsa Seykova has a Bachelor’s degree in Public administration and she is currently finishing her Master’s degree in European Integration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Before joining our team, Ms. Seykova has been involved in the NGO sector as a consultant, working on a variety of international projects mainly connected with the international development field and funded under the EBRD, the World Bank, the USAID and other international agencies. She has also developed grant application materials for projects under “Europe for citizens 2014 – 2020” and “Erasmus+” programmes. In addition, she has gained valuable experience while being an intern at Sofia Municipality, The Bulgarian National Income Agency and The Institute of Modern Politics.

Gergana Dimitrova

Senior expert in EU programmes

Gergana Dimitrova holds a PhD degree in Political Science from the Central European University, Budapest and is a former International Policy Fellow at the Open Society Institute and the Centre for Policy Studies in Budapest. She has over 7 years of experience in the development and coordination of international projects focused on higher education, youth, sustainable development, social inclusion and citizenship. She has also been engaged in project-related academic and policy research in the above fields. As a part of ECQ Ltd. team, Gergana Dimitrova is focusing on the development, management and research-related activities of international projects under the Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020 programmes.
